While information is the cornerstone of our ability to provide superior service, our most important asset is our customers’ trust. Therefore keeping individual customer information secure is a top priority for us. Here then, is our promise to our consumer customers.

We will attempt to safeguard any personal customer information shared with us or created as a result of our business relationship. Although no one can guarantee the absolute security of customer information, we will employ reasonable security devices and protective measures in an effort to assure that improper access to customer information does not occur.

We will generally limit the collection and use of customer information to that which we require to deliver superior service to our customers, which includes advising our customers about our products, services and other opportunities, and to administer our business. In that regard, we share information among our affiliates in an effort to better serve the needs of our customers unless law prohibits such sharing.

We permit authorized employees to have access to that customer information. We implement training and other programs for our employees to stress the importance of conforming to our Privacy Promise. Employees who violate our Privacy Promise are subject to our normal disciplinary process.

We do not reveal customer information to any external organization unless it is necessary to carry out our business with our customers, monitor our website to improve service, we have previously informed the customer in disclosures or agreements, have been authorized by the customer or are required by law.

As an example, on occasion we hire other organizations to provide certain services for us. From time to time we provide them with customer information, or they may become aware of customer information during the course of their services for us. Whenever we hire other organizations to provide support services, we require them to keep customer information confidential in accordance with this Privacy Promise and as required by laws and regulations. As allowed by law, for purposes of credit reporting, verification and risk management, we exchange information about our customers with reputable credit bureaus, reference sources and clearinghouse services.

We also attempt to keep customer files complete, up-to-date, and accurate and will inform our customers how and where to conveniently access their account information (except when we’re prohibited by law) and how to notify us about errors which we will promptly correct.

We do not share information about former customers except as permitted by law.

We will continuously assess ourselves to make sure that we are keeping our Promise.
